A Pirate Ball Special Theatrical Event: Letter of Marque Theater Co. presents THE MOCK TRIALS

What do you get when you put a whole shipload of pirates on a remote island with nothing to do? Mock trials, of course! See pirates try their shipmates with rough humor on one fatuous charge or another, from international bank fraud to consuming non-alcoholic beverages. Piratical aficionado and author of Robinson Crusoe, Daniel Defoe is your one-eyed guide into the world of derision, lampoonery, and gallows humor (…pun intended).

Letter of Marque Theater Co. (LOM) is a trio of theater artists bound by a mutual agreement to make live art the way pirate crews sailed ships. An able bodied crew of multi-talented artists, everyone on board can hand, reef, and steer (i.e. act, direct, and write). Combining music, current events, a sense of adventure, and a strong ambition to change the way the world views theater, Letter of Marque promises to deliver. #theaterpirates
